Experience a cinematic sound journey, told in four movements

Movement 1 “Arrival”

The Princess arrives at her castle alongside the knights who protect her and the citizens who adore her. But there’s a problem: She wants more!

***

Movement 2 “Longing”

The Princess expresses her longing to have some moments to herself, to be anonymous, rather than famous. The princess has a magical mouse friend, who she confides in. The mouse, in turn, tells the castle wizard of her lament – the wizard also would like to disappear from time to time, and creates a magic mask that allows himself, the princess, and her mouse, to appear as ordinary villagers.

***

Movement 3 “The Masquerade Ball”

The Princess receives the mask that allows her to achieve her dream

***

Movement 4 “Freedom”

The Princess escapes with the wizard and the mouse to have fun in the countryside… until her father, the king, returns.

The Symphonina Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2020 by Dr. David Fogel and Gary Gray. The organization’s mission is to spread the joy of symphonic music to young audiences worldwide in part by creating and promoting the innovative musical form known as the “Symphonina”—a concise, melodic symphony lasting around 10-12 minutes and structured in 3 or 4 to four movements each roughly the length of a typical streaming pop song. This creation is a “back to the future” moment, featuring symphonic works of lengths as they were during Mozart’s early days. Through initiatives such as the International Symphonina Orchestra, Symphonina composer competitions, and releasing albums of new music (including Introducing the Symphonina (2023), Advent of the Symphonina (2024) and ASCENSION: SYMPHONINA RISING (2025)), the Foundation nurtures new composers and performers, expanding access to classical music and ensuring its longevity in the modern digital era.
